October Young Souls Events!

October 3-5 – Young Souls Retreat
The Fourth Annual Young Souls Retreat! Arrive Friday evening for a late vespers service and to stay through Sunday for our morning service and optional hiking/mid-day activities.  Saturday will be full of workshops, and other indoor and outdoor fun, all organized by your fellow Young Souls. Official Registration is now closed, but if you’re still interested in going please email Cledwyn and we’ll see what we can do!

Sunday, October 5th 7:45 PM – Young Souls Trivia Night
Join us at Bedrock Billiards at 1841 Columbia Road NW for some trivia and socializing to wrap up the weekend! Special guest-host Jen Toth is visiting all the way from California, and will be co-hosting with Cledwyn (though we may both still smell like campfire from the retreat!). Contact the latter for more information.

**Vespers cancelled due to construction**

Friday, October 10th, 7:00 PM – (Second) Friday Potluck
Please join us for a wonderful dinner with a spiritual component! Thanks to Tina Dudley for hosting. Please RSVP and let us know what you’ll be bringing on Facebook, and label your contribution for animal products, gluten, alcohol, and common allergens. Contact Jennifer Du Mond with any questions.

Sunday, October 19th, 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM – Generosity Sunday!
During this special service, we reflect on how much we value All Souls. All who are able are encouraged to make a pledge of generosity for the upcoming year. This may be large or small, as makes sense to you, but all contributions are helpful.

Sunday, October 19th – After Second Service – October Museum – TBD
We’re still trying to nail down a museum even for October. Have any ideas? Shoot Cledwyn an email and let us know!

Sunday, October 26th, 1:00 PM – Brunch – Southern Hospitality
After the service, meet Young Souls in Pierce Hall to the left of the stage (near the piano).  Or meet us there for brunch at 1:00 pm.  Please RSVP on Facebook to help us get a headcount.  Contact Jen Du Mond with any questions.
