Thursday, January 8, 6:30 – WIN Inaugural Action with Mayor Muriel Bowser
Join leaders from WIN congregations citywide in an action with Muriel Bowser during her first week in office. We’ll present Mayor Bowser an agenda around jobs, housing, homelessness and other issues important to our congregations. Please RSVP on Facebook so they know to expect you! The event will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church at 1421 V St NW.

Friday, January 9, 7:30 pm – First Second Friday Potluck
Please join us for a wonderful potluck dinner with a spiritual component! Thanks to Stephen Simon for hosting. Please RSVP on Facebook and let us know what you’ll be bringing, and label your contribution for animal products, gluten, alcohol, and common allergens. Contact Jennifer Du Mond with any questions.

Wednesday, January 14, 7:30 pm – Vespers
Come join other members of the All Souls community for a contemplative service with singing and silent meditation. Contact Cledwyn Jones with any questions.

Friday, January 16 – Monday January 19 – Winter Escape 2015 Retreat (WE’15)
A few spots still remain for the WE’15 Retreat!  Main website is https://sites.google.com/site/winterescapeuu/, which contains the registration link at the top. Winter Escape offers social and spiritual activities, workshops, hiking, games, music, cooking, baking, etc. Join the Unitarian Universalist Young Adults (ages 18-35+) in the DC area for a 4-day / 3-night fun-filled getaway!  Cost is $89 for the weekend (incl. food).  Feel free to contact us at winterescape11@gmail.com with any questions or comments.

Sunday, January 18, 8:00pm – Trivia
Not going on the Winter Escape? Join Cledwyn at Bedrock Billiards at 1841 Columbia Road NW for some trivia and socializing over the three-day weekend! Cledwyn will be hosting that night, so contact him for more information.

Sunday, January 25 – Find Your Ministry Fair
Curious about all the amazing things going on at All Souls? Visit the Find Your Ministry Fair after first AND second service and peruse the various tables for each of our committees, organizations and groups. You’ll find everything from musical opportunities to social justice activities to communities like our very own Young Souls.

Sunday, January 25, 1:30 pm – Brunch at Wonderland Ballroom
After the service (and the Find Your Ministry Fair), meet the Young Souls in Pierce Hall to head over as a group. Or meet us there for brunch at 1:30 pm.  Please RSVP on Facebook to help us get a headcount.  Contact Jen Du Mond with any questions.

Saturday, January 31, 4-6 pm – Ice Skating at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden
Join other Young Souls to show off your ice skating skills or slowly slide around the rink. Show up a few minutes early to get your tickets and enjoy the full two hours. Skate and locker rental also available. Contact Sophia Fisher for more information. Please RSVP on Facebook (once we’ve added the event) and check the weather! This event is subject to postponement or cancellation in the case of inclement weather.
