Join a couple hundred members of All Souls at Camp Tockwogh on the Chesapeake Bay May 29th-31st! Hiking, swimming, bonfires, workshops, and stronger connections with your fellow congregants are all on the agenda; it’s one of the best ways to deepen your involvement with the community, and we usually have a good cadre of Young Souls attending. Monday, April 13, 6:00 p.m. – Cherry Blossom Happy Hour
Let’s admire the beautiful pink blossoms from Japan on Monday, April 13th. Danny Lambert will meet everyone at the top of the Smithsonian Metro elevator at 6 p.m., for a walk to the Tidal Basin. Afterward, the group will walk up to MXDC (600 14th St NW) for lively reflection and libations. If it rains, we’ll go to MXDC straight from the metro. Thursday, April 30, 6:00 p.m. – Pictures From a Hiroshima School Yard and Hiroshima Children’s Drawings Exhibit
If you missed this moving documentary when it was debuted at All Souls last year, don’t miss your chance to see it now, as well as some of the drawings that inspired it. All Souls congregants will be joined by DC’s Hiroshima Nagasaki Peace Committee to host Gensuikyo, Japan’s largest peace action and anti-nuclear activist organization.
