Friday, January 18th – Sunday, January 21st – Jubilee Anti-Racism Training
The next Jubilee Anti-Racism Training has been scheduled for MLK weekend in January! Most of the Young Souls Board has now taken the training–please feel free to reach out to any of us if you have any questions about the experience.
Jubilee Anti-Racism Training helps participants understand what is involved in nurturing a multicultural community and working against racism in all of its forms. The workshop requires a weekend commitment; and it is worth every minute of that commitment. $160 per participant (includes cost for trainers, meals and materials). Location: All Souls. Enrollment is limited to 40 participants, so sign up today! Registration deadline is January 15, 2019. Schedule: Friday, January 18th (6:00pm to 10:00pm); Saturday, January 19th recessed for the Women’s March; Sunday, January 20th (8:30am to 8:00pm); Monday, January 21st (8:30 to 4:00).
Register here: https://www.uua.org/central-east/events/region/jubilee-workshop-dc-119. RSVP on Facebook here (if you so choose, it’s a thing you can do, not a requirement for registration :)): Questions? Contact Maia.

Come volunteer, together! The lunch ministry will be preparing lunch for the congregation on Sunday, January 20th.
